Chong Tese joins 1. FC Köln

North Korea international Chong Tese joins top-flight outfit 1. FC Köln with immediate effect. Both parties agreed to keep the terms of the deal confidential.

Chong Tese joined VfL Bochum from Japanese first division Kawasaki Frontale ahead of the 2010/11 season. The 27-year-old striker has made 39 Bundesliga2 appearances for VfL Bochum, scoring 14 goals (five assists). Chong Tese’s contract with VfL Bochum 1848 was due to expire in June 2012.
