Chong Tese joined VfL Bochum from Japanese first division Kawasaki Frontale ahead of the 2010/11 season. The 27-year-old striker has made 39 Bundesliga2 appearances for VfL Bochum, scoring 14 goals (five assists). Chong Tese’s contract with VfL Bochum 1848 was due to expire in June 2012.
